Meet Amy Rosenthal

Amy works as an academic adviser for Access to Success. She has diverse interests, though specifically enjoys art and art history, writing, and international development and education. She graduated from the University of Minnesota, College of Liberal Arts with a B.A. in Art History, and from the College of Education and Human Development with an M.A. in Educational Policy and Administration, Comparative and International Development Education. She's been working for the College of Liberal Arts for seven years, five and a half of which were as a transfer adviser, and has worked in higher education for eleven years. She's thrilled to be working with students in the Access to Success program!

She has volunteered at the English Learning Center teaching English to first-level students, and has done research and project work for United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF)- Malawi and Save the Children. She enjoys international travel and how it challenges the way she views her own day-to-day life. She lives near one of the Minneapolis lakes with Tom and their new little girl, and they all thoroughly enjoy Minneapolis.
