Meet Sonam Paldon

My name is Sonam Paldon and I am enrolled as a sophomore in the College of Liberal Arts. I wanted to major in Biochemistry when I first entered the University, but plans changed when I took Intro to Psychology as one of my requirements. I developed an interest in studying the human brain and behavior. I plan to seek admission to the University of Minnesota Medical School.

As for my background, I was born India and moved to Minnesota when I was 12. I went to Central High School, Minnesota. My grandparents were originally from Tibet and they moved to India during the Communist invasion in Tibet. I grew up learning different cultures and I look forward to learn more about different cultures this year from my mentees.
